AECO Energy started in 2009 under the Power Choice brand in Australia stemming from the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. Today, with over 90 staff worldwide, AECO Energy has grown tremendously with operations in Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines.
Necessity is the mother of invention. A crisis is a time for businesses to innovate and take advantage of market changes. I learned this in the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. With a 75% revenue drop-off, I had to look for new ways to create value and deliver innovation in new markets.
All I had was an idea, a laptop, and a vision – to innovate and help businesses lower costs and increase profits. And that was it, and the rest is history.
